Thinking of Branson

If I were to go to Branson, Missouri, how would I plan my trip? Well I'd probably start with a couple Titanium Packages, planning a four person trip here, the lodgings in that package look pretty nice. Plus there's quite a few tickets to shows and events in the package that interest me, especially the Incredible Acrobats of China.

I'd probably scope out some of the other local attractions as well. It looks like Branson has a nice selection of natural attractions to, such as nature parks, caves and caverns, love that stuff.

It actually looks like a very nice place, from the pictures it kind of reminds of places I've been on vacation, nice laid back vibe, great entertainment, great surroundings, that's the kind of vacation I want to go on, not to overwhelming if you just want to relax, but with lots of options if I want to be entertained.

Struggling for Halloween Entertainment?

As part of my failed countdown to Halloween posts over at Paranormal Activities I posted two classic horror movies Night of the Living Dead and Nosferatu, both these movies are in the public domain which means you can download them, share them, pretty much do what ever with them.

The thing is there are loads of other horror movies out there in the public domain, granted they're old, but a lot of them have more impact than the horror films of today I feel.

Auto Insurance

Do I need car insurance, if I had a car I most certainly would. I think the biggest insurance game down here is auto insurance one, everyone I know has it and I think for good reason, it's probably the most direct type insurance most of us use.

Dings, break ins, crashes, happens more than most of the other claims you'll make. So when I do decide to get a car, I'll definitely have to have some insurance, I'll have to worry about maintenance, I'll have to worry about gas... hope I don't need a car for a very long time.

Halloween Special on Paranormal Activities

I should be finished the Halloween Variety Special, not soon after my blitz here on My Paranormal Life.

I've also decided it's time to clean up my bookmarks and post as much as I can, I always bookmark vids that I want to research more before I present them, the result of that is they get backed up and I never get to them.

So we'll see how things go and I'll see y'all over at PA.

Harley Parts

Mates when I'm older I would say that I'd be the type to splurge on a Harley, I like to customize my stuff to so I'd have to be loaded with Harley parts as well. There's just something about the bikes that make men turn their heads, It's like a good sports car or even an import in this day, it's something I've noticed my entire life.

It's that same look a man gets when he sees a beautiful woman walking down the street, except he can fully ogle the bike.

Halloween on Paranormal Activities

I'm hoping to have a plan for something special for Halloween on Paranormal Activities, I was doing a "countdown to Halloween" but I screwed that up, here's hoping I can be consistent.

Health Insurance - SP

I went to the hospital about a month ago because I had cut a good part off of one of my finger, well it was hanging there. It's all good now, healing quite nicely. I hadn't been to the doctor for years prior to this and what I noticed most were the prices, I waited 3 hours, busy night there, was seen for about 15 minutes and it cost me $39, which from my memory of my prior visit is a huge increase in billing. Maybe if I had some insurance, maybe like some NC health insurance, that cash would still be in my pocket.

Last HDR Photo for now

I'll be doing some more once I find some interesting locations, I'd say down the road at the beach.

At the moment I'm only using three exposures, but I've been reading about 9 exposure images, so I may try and figure out how to that.

Keeping Weight in Check

There are so many ways to lose weight it ain't funny, even having that little extra help can contribute to your weight loss. I think the most important ingredient though is hard work, all things combined if you stick to it, you'll lose it.

The one thing I've noticed with myself and people around me who are trying to lose weight is that if they're paying for it they're usually more successful than those that go it the cheep way.

But there's always that temptation of mums baking.

Another HDR Photo

Here's another HDR photograph I've done. As I mentioned in an earlier post I'm doing it the easy way. My camera has a bracketing feature that takes 3 photos all at once each with different exposure settings, once you load the photos onto a computer you use a piece of software like Photomatix to join them and create an HDR photo out of the 3.

It's the easiest way I know off, but I know putting more effort in will create better results, so I'm working towards that.

Healthy Colon

After the weekend I've had, feeling like I do at the moment maybe a colon cleanse could be good to get rid of the booze poos.

I know, a little to the point, but at least these are in pill form. After a big weekend I'm feeling nothing but nasty and I do feel like being cleansed, lots of water usually does the trick, maybe eating something healthy would help to, something to soak up the toxins.

Or I could just stop drinking, something I'm considering quite a lot these days, I'm not getting any younger that's for sure.

Unlock Thy Phone

So I was thinking of buying an iphone awhile ago, I eagerly awaited the prices, thinking to myself, how bad can they be. They arrived and I was shocked to discover the most expensive would be the only one worth a damn. The problem is that only one carrier is providing service for the phone sown here, this isn't good for the consumer, without competition they can do as they like.

I still want one, but not at the prices offered, I wonder if I can make one and unlocked phone, then again an iphone without a plan down here is still over a grand.

More Memory

My computers starting to run slower now days, most probably because I'm using more software at any one time, it's times like these I wish I had more computer memory.

I can play games on my computer, granted it doesn't take full advantage of the graphics some of these games have, but I don't because of the time it takes starting them up, sometimes it takes twenty minutes just to exit a game. Would be nice to have some more memory, then again that would take away time for blogging.

What's up at Paranormal Activities

Maybe as you can tell from the feed above, lots of posting, any of it good? ah I don't know, I'll let y'all be the judge of that.

A part from that I've added a cool chat feature to the sidebar, but for the best experience with it I'd suggest clicking on over to the host site Chatroll. you don't have to register or anything, but clicking on over to Chatroll will give you a nice tidy collection to all the interesting videos and links chatters have been talking about.

Here's the chat in action below.

Cookies - SP

Mum would always make sure there were cookies in the hows, she knew how to make so many different types, I'm not sure if she used cookie recipes or knew them by heart. She doesn't bake a lot cookies anymore, but she does still bake a lot, usually stuff with fruit in it and she does make a mean mince pie.

The closest I've ever gotten to baking something is making dough for fried bread.

Pulse - SP

I was wondering what a pulse oximeter was when I read the description, then when I saw the pictures of one I knew exactly what it was. While I was at the hospital waiting to get my half off finger checked out, the nurse placed one on my finger, along with one of those blood pressure things. I really regret not asking the results of my blood pressure, must have nothing to worry about though as she never said anything about it, I'm sure she would have if it were bad.

Candle Holders - SP

Now, believe it all not, I do have a large amount of candle holders around me, I don't have any Votive candle holders, but I'd say I've just realized I didn't put the ones I've got where they are myself and I actually don't really know why I have so many, I don't even use them. For the most part me mum gave them to me, I don't know why either, I've just never questioned why she has, it's actually quite odd.
